Building affiliate websites with Wordpress is really easy and there are many great plugins to help make this task even easier. And phpOStock is no exception as it is easy to install (as all wp plugins are!) and configuration and use of this plugin in both pages and posts is really simple. Create an Affiliate Site in Less Than 1 Hour!

As soon as I bought the phpOStock plugin I decided to create a new affiliate site to see just how easy it was as Ben had already told me it would be really easy. And it was!

To be honest had I already bought the domain name, but it only took a few minutes to create a new account in my Hostgator reseller account and switch the names servers to it. I then installed Wordpress using the Fantastico one-click install facility in cPanel and installed one of the twelve free themes that Ben supplies with the plugin.

In less than a minute I changed the logo in Photoshop (.psd file alos supplied!) and then spent the rest of the time learning how to use the plugin from the user manual and adding the code to the Wordpress pages and sidebar widget.

Really this was a quick process and just so easy to implement. Granted this is a thin affiliate site and I still need to add some useful content, but the site already looks really good and very professional. Impressive! Next time I build an Overstock affiliate site it will be even quicker.
